SPONSORING A CHILD GIVES NEW LIFE.
Your monthly donation of $30 per month is changing a life of a child in Uganda and they are relying on you to stay committed to them and provide them with an education until they graduate. It's a big deal for you to give monthly to a child you may never physically meet (we get that) - but we know that the relationship you will build with the child you support and the impact you will have on their life is totally worth it! The child you sponsor will know you and you will know them.

Your child will rely on your monthly support to attend school. They will look forward to writing you letters on their progress and reading your words that will encourage them to work and study hard. They need you.
Sponsor a Child
Who are these children? Each and every one of the 26 children at Grassroots Children’s Foundation have previously been directly affected by poverty, homelessness and sickness.
They are aged from between 4-15 years old, some of them were rescued by our founder Mosh as young as 2 weeks old.
Are they all orphans? Many of the children in our care have been brought to our center as their parents were extremely ill having contracted HIV Aids. Other children were simply abandoned by their parents and needed a safe home, where they would be loved, nurtured, fed and given an education.

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?
Sponsor a child for $30 month
You can also co-sponsor a child for $50 a month, and another generous sponsor will also support or help that child to build their future.
How Does It Work?
Step 1: You choose a child to sponsor.
Some of our children’s stories are sad and emotional, but we do believe that you need to understand their past in order to connect with them and choose the child that you would like to support and nurture during their upbringing. They may have a particular story that touches you for a personal reason
Step 2: You change a life
Your monthly sponsorship will ensure your child has accommodation, full time education, good quality balanced diet, regular health checks and good quality clothes/shoes.
Step 3: Correspond.
You will receive regular updates on your child’s progress with photos/videos, drawings, letters and school reports.
Step 4: Feel the love!
Smile! You’ve changed a child’s life!

Each Hope For Kampala Sponsorship package includes: tuition, school materials, school uniforms, meals throughout the day at school and school shoes.

LOCATE THOSE IN NEED.
Our on the ground team, in Uganda, locate children in high-poverty and high-risk areas where children are unable to attend school + afford an education and those who have nothing to eta.
WE VALUE COMMITMENT.
After enrollment, our scholarship recipients must maintain at least a 80% attendance rate to continue receiving a scholarship with Hope For Kampala.
